We are committed to continually improving and maintaining the security and reliability of our products. As part of these ongoing efforts, we are releasing a scheduled system update for our standalone terminals and systems.

Details of the Update:

This update addresses minor vulnerabilities identified in certain models of our standalone terminals. For a detailed list of the affected models, please refer to the appendix of this notification. Additionally, the update enhances the overall performance and stability of these systems.

Schedule and Availability:

The firmware updates will start rolling out on June 23rd for the models directly affected by these vulnerabilities, as specified in the appendix. Updates for other models will follow within the next 30 working days.

Implementation:

Users are required to manually download the firmware upgrade pack from our support page. The update should then be uploaded to the terminals using a USB drive. This method ensures that all terminals, whether connected to the internet or not, receive the update securely and efficiently. We have ensured that this update process is straightforward and will not disrupt the normal operation of your devices.

Security Enhancements:

Please note that this particular update focuses on system security improvements and performance enhancements for ZKTeco systems.

Recommended Actions:

For optimal system performance and security, we recommend all users to update their devices at their earliest convenience. Comprehensive instructions for downloading and applying the firmware via USB will be available on our support page.
